In Bound, Brandon Stieg uses carved redwood and hand-woven copper rope to explore the quiet tension between inner truth and external expectation. The natural form, tightly wrapped, becomes a metaphor for the push and pull between individuality and conformity. Finished with an ebony gel stain and multiple coats of buffed wax, the surface evokes the softness of fabric. Approximately 30” in diameter. One of a kind.
