Not a Casting. Diver Boy is the headline sculpture in Brandon Stieg’s Diver Boy series and is entirely hand-forged, formed, and fabricated in steel, brass, bronze, and copper. Standing approximately 5 feet tall with the base and 24” wide, the piece is built over a welded steel framework and clad with meticulously hand-carved and textured metal panels. The helmet features an operational front hatch and is fitted with an Edison bulb. The steel base is carved in a flowing water pattern. One of a kind.
